* Regarding the GAGG detector
- Gio gave the talk about the gagg detector and got good response at the LRT conference
- fixed the Octopus bugs and added new features for the PSD, details see https://wiki.sites.lngs.infn.it/doku.php?id=gagg-nd:processed_data_v2
- ideas about determining the half-life of the 152Gd alpha decay (Q = 2204 keV)
- 147Sm contamination (alpha decay with a Q-value of 2311 keV) in the low energy alpha peak
- perform the icpms
- order a new GAGG wafer and try to operate it as a bolometer which would have a much better energy resolution
* Next step
- independent determination for the internal contaminations
- try to look for coincidence analysis: 214Bi (alphas) -> 214Po (beta/gamma)
- finalize the delayed coincidence analyses by the end of October
- aim to submit our paper by the end of November at least
