  • Regarding the GAGG detector
    1. writing paper, will add DC analysis, and contamination values
    2. start the Be(γ, n) reaction, hopefully this Friday
    3. thermal neutron Am-Be data processed
  • LaBr3 detector
    1. data exposure doubled, around 25 days
    2. choose a journal to publish the 215Po half-life measurement
    3. measure the half-life of the 215Po's mother nucleus, 219Rn
    4. systematic uncertainties need to be considered
      1. consider a linear background model, instead of a flat one
      2. adjust time binning
      3. check the fit method, use least square fitting (For ROOT: try “IEL” fit option)
      4. adjust the energy window
