  • Regarding the GAGG detector
    1. adjust the fitting of 152Gd
    2. do a simultaneous fit to estimate the contamination values
  • Next step
    1. test the time reconstruction of the DAQ using a pulse generator
    2. understand the 7 ms coincidence:
      1. look for coincidence analysis: 211Pb (beta/gamma) → 211Bi (alpha)
      2. do low background gamma spectrometry measurements and look for the low energy gamma rays
    3. take background data with a shorter time window and search for 212Bi → 212Po
    4. order a new GAGG wafer and try to operate it as a bolometer with a much better energy resolution to estimate the half-life of 152Gd
    5. Be can be obtained for the (γ,n) reaction
